April Fool... May Fool

Funny story. On the 1 April 2009, I picked up a post on the Silicon Valley Watcher blog which I get a feed on (worth a watch some intersting posts for anyone industry related) entitled "Google Quietly Drops Its 'Don't Be Evil' Motto" by Tom Foremski.

It hit my iGoogle page and I took a look. Very interesting I thought at the time. Tom is usually quite good on industry info. HAHA. Alas it was an April fool's post, fool me once... A month later I quote him in a NY Times blog! You have to love it. Well done Tom.

However, aghast at my error I have a quick look around and low and behold..

Google have not dropped their informal "Don't be evil" motto. Thanks Tom :)
